STDs, also known as sexually transmitted diseases, are passed from one person to another by sexual contact. STDs are contracted through anal, oral, or vaginal sex. Some symptoms of STDs include sores or bumps in the genital, oral, or rectal area, unusual discharge, and pain during urination.
