Out of Country Drug Claim Process

When filling a prescription out of the country, you will need to pay out of pocket for your medicines and then submit a request for claim adjudication upon return.  You will need to maintain all receipts showing prescription information, drug name, strength, quantity, amount paid, date of service, NDC, etc.  If the service is deemed a covered benefit, you will be reimbursed for the amount paid less any applicable member cost sharing.

The Prescription Drug Claim Form can be completed and submitted for consideration of coverage or members can call the Customer Service number on the back of their ID card for assistance.

Please note that special group approval may be required in some instances.
