PASSAGE USA Program Progressions

Students and Mentors who are part of the South Alabama Civitan standing at table at recruiting drive and fundraiser event.

PASSAGE USA 2- and 4-year Programs

Both PASSAGE USA's 2- and 4-year programs are Comprehensive Transition Programs (CTP). Students attending PASSAGE USA's 2- and 4-year programs can use the FAFSA to apply for need-based Financial Aid.  In addition, PASSAGE USA students can apply for Veteran Chapter 35 Assistance if eligible.

Students enrolled in the PASSAGE USA program are NOT eligible for student loans, nor are they eligible to claim tax exemption via 1098-T.

Student Learning Outcomes

Students in PASSAGE USA will demonstrate academic enrichment by attaining satisfactory course grades in 75% of inclusive academic courses and mastering learning contract goals as reviewed at the end of each semester.

Students in PASSAGE USA will demonstrate advancements in independent living skills as evidenced by attaining satisfactory grades in 100% of their life skills specialized courses and making progress toward 75% of their life skills goals on their AEPs.

Students in PASSAGE USA will demonstrate advancements in employment skills as evidenced by attaining satisfactory grades in 100% of their employment specialized and practicum courses and making progress toward 75% of their employment skills goals on their AEPs.

Students in PASSAGE USA will demonstrate advancements in social skills as evidenced by making progress toward 75% of their life skills goals on their AEPs.

Students in PASSAGE USA will develop and present a portfolio summarizing their accomplishments while in the program.
