Location

The Center for Academic Excellence is located on the second floor of the Marx Library.  Check-in for both subject and writing tutoring is on the south side, outside room 206, near the government documents book stacks.

Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 8:00pm 

Closed Friday - Sunday

Final Examinations
Hours based on tutor availability.

Hours may change during holidays and campus-wide events

Holidays Spring 2026

Spring Break Monday, March 9-Sunday, March 15

No tutoring services are offered during the break. Our front desk will be available to answer questions and book future appointments from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Regular hours will resume on Monday, March 16. 

 

Appointments and Drop-Ins

Both the writing lab and subject tutoring services offer appointments. We are happy to accommodate drop-ins whenever possible between our scheduled appointments.
