The Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness offers day camps and other youth programs at the Student Recreation Center.  Activities are primarily recreational and physical such as swimming, rock wall climbing, ping-pong, outdoor games, sports, and more. Advance registration for all events is required; we do not accept drop-ins.

Location

USA Student Recreation Center at 51 Jaguar Blvd, on the corner of Jaguar Blvd and Old Shell Road. The SRC is building #12 on the campus map.

Event Descriptions

▼   Summer Camps

Summer Camps are for children who are rising 1st-8th graders. Campers must have completed kindergarten and may not be entering 9th grade or higher; no exceptions. We offer seven one-week sessions in the summer. 

▼   Fall/Winter Day Camps
Fall/Winter Day Camps are for children who are currently in K5-8th grade. These camps are single-day camps, not weekly.

*No camp Wednesday 6/19 due to the Juneteenth holiday.

Summer camps are Monday-Friday, 7:45am-3:00pm each day.

  • Children must arrive by 8:45am. Non-swimmers must arrive between 8:30-8:45am.
  • Pickup is between 2:40-3:00pm. After-camp care is offered between 3:00-4:30pm for an additional $20/week.
▼   Fall/Winter Day Camps 2024-2025

Fall/Winter camps are 7:45am-3:00pm each day. Dates TBD. 

  • Children must arrive by 8:45am each day. Non-swimmers must arrive between 8:30-8:45am.
  • Pickup is between 2:40-3:00pm. No after-camp care is offered during fall/winter camps.

Cost

▼   Fall/Winter Day Camps 2024-2025

The fall/winter camp prices are per child, per day. Only children and grandchildren of current USA students and Student Recreation Center members may get the member price. USA employees who are not members of the SRC will pay the non-member price.

Fall camps include all-you-can eat lunch at the Fresh Food Company.

Winter camps do not include lunch, as the Fresh Food Company is closed; parents must send a meal.

The 2024 rates listed below are per child, per week. Only children and grandchildren of current USA students and Student Recreation Center members may get the member rate. USA employees who are not members of the SRC will pay the non-member rate.

Lunch is not included in 2024 summer camps due to renovations at the Fresh Food Company. All campers must bring lunch.

Camp Staff

Camp counselors are USA students who are certified in American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid, have completed our in-house staff training, and have passed a background check. Certified lifeguards supervise all pool activities. The Outdoor Adventures staff supervises the climbing wall.
