The Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) supports research, scholarly, and creative activities at the University of South Alabama and fosters regional economic development initiatives.

The Office of Research Compliance and Integrity oversees compliance in areas such as human subjects, animal care, biosafety, export controls, research ethics, conflicts of interest, and misconduct.

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is an easy-to-use, secure, web-based application for capturing, using, and sharing research or performance improvement data. 

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) will provide assistance in using Qualtrics to members of the University community.
