Order of Omega Applications

About

Membership in Order of Omega is extended to students who are part of a recognized fraternity or sorority and who demonstrate strong leadership, academic excellence, and meaningful involvement. Members are selected by the local chapter and represent the best of what Fraternity and Sorority Life stands for.

How to Join

At South Alabama, new student members of Order of Omega are selected twice a year. To be eligible, students must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors and active members of a recognized fraternity or sorority. We can initiate up to 5% of the total Fraternity and Sorority Life community or 20 students, whichever number is greater.

We also have the option to initiate honorary members. These are faculty or staff at South who may not be affiliated with a fraternity or sorority themselves, but who have shown strong support for the FSL community.
