Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program:

• $2500/student. Awarded in five installments upon receipt of required material.
• Limited supplies for project (max $300)

SURF Faculty Match Program (details)

• Faculty with available funds can pay a 50% match ($1250) for students to participate in the SURF program under their mentorship.  The OUR supplies the remaining $1250.

• Individual faculty grants
• Funds from Colleges and/or Departments
• Federal Work Study (FWS) Students
  • Student(s) must be eligible and approved by the university for FWS.
  • Contact the Financial Aid office to verify the desired job duties are acceptable for the work study program.
  • Complete required documentation provided by Financial Aid.
• The Student Government Association (SGA) provides limited travel grants for students belonging to approved Student Organizations.

Note: The volunteer internship program provides no financial support.
