Medical Alumni Reunion

Make plans to join us for next year's Medical Alumni Reunion Weekend.

Welcome from the President

Russell Goode, M.D.Fellow USA Whiddon College of Medicine alumni,

As the new president of the University of South Alabama Medical Alumni Association and a proud member of the Class of 2010, it is my pleasure to welcome you and your guests to the Lodge in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for the 2025 Medical Alumni Reunion Weekend.

While we celebrate all alumni who are part of the Whiddon College of Medicine community, we are proud to give special recognition to those from classes ending in 0s and 5s celebrating milestone anniversaries. This weekend offers a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with classmates, share memories, and build new ones together.

We are proud to continue the tradition of recognizing our outstanding alumni through the Medical Alumni & Leadership Awards. This year’s awards will be celebrated during our Friday evening dinner, a highlight of the weekend as we honor the achievements and contributions of our alumni to the medical profession and beyond.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll find many opportunities to catch up with old friends, network, and engage in meaningful activities. I encourage you to participate in our educational sessions, led by distinguished faculty and alumni, offering AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Gulf Shores.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Medical Alumni Association Board and the Office of Medical Affairs for their dedication in planning and coordinating this special event. Their commitment ensures that our reunion is memorable, meaningful, and professionally enriching.

We hope you enjoy the beauty of the Gulf Coast and the camaraderie of your fellow alumni.

Best regards,

Signature of Russell Goode, M.D. Russell Goode, M.D., ‘10
